November wrap up - December goals!

So november was a pretty good month for me, I only played 13k hands and still finished up a lot. I'm finally a full time 50nl player which is great! The last week of November i didn't play much poker due to the holiday and I got super busy with real life stuff! Here's a nice little treat for everyone! It's my November graph! I got coached all this month and I think it's really helped my game a lot. So here's my graphAs you can see didn't play much. I'd say total play is like a weeks worth. For December I want to try and put in 25k hands, can't say too much due to the holidays and stuff coming up but I really need to get cracking on my bonus so I can purchase my new computer as an x-mas gift for myself. Been really focused on studying last month too which I think helped put in a good month for 25nl/50nl And this month should be even better! Welp that's really it for now. Was a crazy November didn't play much but played well. Here's hoping for an even better December!

and the new month begins!

Alright so it's a new month and I'm off to a break even start! to be honest I would be ahead but I was being dumb and decided to play some HU instead. Lost some and then won it all back playing 6max! Silly I know but wanted to mix it up a bit. Anyways start of month can't complain Although I've decided no more HU action till I feel more comfortable at 6max. I have another coaching lesson tonight. Should be a good one! I recorded a good hour long video with some excellent spots in it I think. Much better then the last video I made. Well not really much to say after that I'll ttyl you all later in the month to give you an update!

PLO is the new NLH of 2005

So the past couple days I've been getting into PLO which has been an interesting learning process . First day I SUCKED, like big time I only knew the basics and I was like man I need to do some learning. So I took a break and watched a few videos on PLO at DC. which they were great! I do have to say I can go on tilt easier playing PLO at these small limits I'm playing cause people are playing really bad hands, but that's PLO! I'd say my understanding of the game has improved so much though over the past couple of days. It's really clicked and I'm enjoying myself. Haven't been playing much NLH lately but that will change!

End of the month!

So it's the end of the month time to tell everyone how I did! Over all it was a good month. I was seek about 7 days out of this month though so it didn't make as much time for poker as I would have liked but oh well! tummy bug + food poisoning a week later = YUCKY. Anyways, over all was a good month I've had 3 coaching sessions and all those were great! I feel like my game has improved as far as NL holdem goes. So this month I'm up on PS 12BI's! I also unlocked 4 BI's as well, and now I'm ready to play 50NL on stars! I'm excited for it.

I didn't play much on ftp and the times I did it was up and downish so I'm only up 4BI's, and 1 BI in rakeback for a grand total of 5 BI's for the month. Still play at 25nl on ftp due to the fact that I'm working on unlocking a bonus on stars. But all good anyways! I'm almost there only another 12BI's to go! Halloween is coming up should make a great time to play poker and steal candy from the neighbors which are good times! Your probably thinking you should go out do something! but it's like this I gotta work! so oh well! tons of people work on Halloween! and poker is my job after all.

Long time No blog

So I just got a new computer and I'm back to playing poker! Before my computer broke I was trying to get a group going on DC and thankfully they continued without me and put one together! I have a lot of ideas to put into the group so we'll see how that goes!

Now it's time for an update of my progress since I got back! Back on Tuesday I played on fulltilt and ended up 3 BI's up for the day! It was a goodnight :). Wensday I played on pokerstars cause I'm trying to unlock a 400$ bonus. Earned 2 BI's that day. Today was not as great. I had a break even day. Everyone just wasn't giving up their hands and When I hit a hard I wasn't getting paid at all. so i ended up like 5 dollars up, woohooo! I guess it's better then nothing though! I plan to play one more session tonight before I go to bed and hope that does good!

I'm glad I'm back though! I missed playing poker. Heres hoping that tomorrow goes better for me!

First post

So this is my first post on the blog I'm starting up so people can see my progress. I currently play on Poker stars and Fulltilt at 25NL my current BR at both sites is a little over 20 Buy-in's. I've been doing some real hard core studying the past couple weeks to improve my game, which I feel is really helping.

Yesterday I had a bad run in with cards on Poker stars and ended up 5 Buy in's down. I just wasn't hitting cards at all and when I cbet on good boards no one was folding anything, even when I was heads up with people, So I had a bad day variance jumped in and kicked my butt! Today when I started though I ended up 2 Buy-in's up so far! so give me another day and I'm sure I'll be back to where I was.

Today at Full tilt started off pretty bad. It was like my Poker Stars tables yesterday, wasn't hitting cards and when I was no one paid off. Thankfully though later on in the session I started hitting! and ended up only down 10 bucks. so that's fine considering I was down 60 at one point and I wasn't even paying anyone off, it was just a bunch of little pots I was losing.

I got myself a coach. He's pretty good and cool too. Going to have my first lesson this weekend! I'm pretty happy about that. Also haven't touched my rakeback for full tilt yet! so I have extra money in there. Hurray! Well that's all for today, ttyl folks!
